*Titanium Grade 9 Rod ASTM B348 is an alloy of titanium and other elements such as aluminum and vanadium.
*Grade 9 Ti 3Al 2.5V rod is highly corrosion resistant and offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
*Titanium Grade 9 bar is also known for its excellent weldability and is often used in applications that require strength and corrosion resistance. *Titanium Grade 9 bar is used in a variety of applications, including medical implants, aerospace components, and sporting equipment.
*Ti 3Al 2.5V bar is available in a range of sizes, shapes, and finishes.
*Ti 3Al 2.5V bar is an alpha-beta alloy that has improved strength over commercially pure titanium grades. This grade also has excellent corrosion resistance, formability and weldability.
*Titanium Grade 9 Rod ASTM B348 can be machined using the right quantity of coolant flow, slow speeds and high feed rates. High-speed tools should be used for tooling this alloy and the recommended tool types are tungsten carbide designations C1-C4 or cobalt based.
*Grade 9 Ti 3Al 2.5V rod can be hot or cold formed using hydropress, power brake, stretch or drop hammer techniques.
