Ti-6Al-4V (titanium Grade 5) is an alpha-beta alloy that is the most widely used of all the titanium alloys.

It is also known as UNS R56400, or Ti-6-4.

It is a titanium alloy with a composition of 6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium.

It is 30% stronger than steel while with the weight 50% lighter.

It is heat treatable and is known for its excellent strength to weight ratio, high corrosion resistance, and weldability. Ti-6Al-4V is used in a variety of applications including aerospace components, medical implants, and sporting equipment. It is a popular choice for use in 3D printing due to its unique properties.
