Scope of application: deep well anode is used for anode for external current cathodic protection, which refers to the anode bed at the top of the anode body ≥15m from the ground, which is relatively shallow buried anode.

Deep well tubular anode is a type of sacrificial anode used in cathodic protection systems to prevent the corrosion of underground metal structures such as pipelines, storage tanks, and other metallic structures.

The deep well tubular titanium anode is installed in a deep borehole, typically several hundred feet deep, and filled with a conductive backfill material such as coke breeze or conductive polymer. The backfill material helps to improve the electrical conductivity of the soil and increase the anode efficiency.

Titanium anodes are often preferred over other materials for deep well cathodic protection systems due to their superior corrosion resistance, high current capacity, and long service life. They are particularly useful in environments with high soil resistivity or in situations where the structure being protected is located in a corrosive environment such as seawater.

The tubular anode is connected to the metal structure being protected by a cable, and a direct current (DC) voltage is applied to the system. Deep well tubular titanium anode used for cathodic protection application case

Deep well tubular titanium anodes are commonly used for cathodic protection of metal structures that are prone to corrosion, such as pipelines, tanks, and ships. 

In this application, the deep well tubular titanium anode is connected to a DC power source and placed in the surrounding electrolyte (e.g. soil, water, or seawater). When the DC current is applied, the anode becomes the anode of the electrochemical cell and corrodes sacrificially, while the metal structure being protected becomes the cathode and is protected from corrosion.
