Titanium expanded mesh plate is expanded from titanium sheets, the openings are normally diamond. It is used as anode in many fields. Titanium mesh is usually coated with metal oxide and metal mixture oxide coated (MMO coated) such as RuO2/IrO2 coated anode, platinised anode.
Titanium mesh is made by expanding titanium sheet, which is ASTM B265 specified commercial pure titanium sheet. Titanium has two most useful properties, unique corrosion resistance and the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. Titanium materials can be used in many fields, such as chemical and electronic industry. Titanium mesh is mostly used as titanium anode and filter elements in chlor-alkali industry and other chemistry industry.
