Descriptions
Ti-3Al-2.5V Gr9 Seamless Tube is an alpha-beta titanium alloy that offers improved strength compared to commercially pure titanium grades, while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability.
Titanium Grade 9 Tube can be machined effectively with proper coolant flow, slow speeds, and high feed rates. High-speed tools such as tungsten carbide (C1–C4) or cobalt-based tooling are recommended for optimal performance.
This alloy, composed of 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium, provides a superior strength-to-weight ratio and outstanding corrosion resistance. It is widely used in aerospace, medical, and industrial applications, making it a versatile material for both structural and fluid-handling systems.
