Description
AMS 4975 Titanium 6246 Rod is a heat-treatable titanium alloy composed of 6% aluminum, 2.5% vanadium, and the balance titanium. It offers a unique combination of high strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial applications.
This alloy exhibits an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and maintains superior mechanical properties in high-temperature and corrosive environments. It is available in rod, bar, and sheet forms, and can be readily machined, forged, and welded.
